Conor Harrison established CJH Education Consulting in the Summer of 2015 after 19 years working with various support services of the Department of Education and Skills in Ireland. He has organised, managed and facilitated continuing professional development courses for post-primary teachers across Ireland in a variety of subjects and programmes: Art, Civic, Social and Political Education (CSPE), Classics (Classical Studies, Ancient Greek and Latin), Geography, History, Music and Religious Education and the Junior Certificate School Programme (JCSP) and Transition Year (TY).
Conor has also facilitated workshops on numerous themes, including Active Learning Methodologies, Mixed Ability Teaching, Assessment for Learning, Tackling Controversial Issues in the Classroom, Presentation Skills and Facilitation Skills.
He has spent many years in Curriculum Development and in the development of education teaching and learning resources working with many public bodies and private companies. He has a particular interest inactive learning methodologies, the use of still and moving digital images.
He also lectures to Professional Masters in Education (PME) students in Maynooth University, University College Dublin and Hibernia College.
